It shall be the purpose of Badminton club to promote interest, participation and competition in the sport of Badminton locally and regionally through training and tournaments. 2. It shall be the mission of Badminton club to provide practice sessions for anyone interested to learn the game, to participate in other citiesstatewide (Bentonville, Little Rock) as well as neighboring college (TX, OK, LA, MS, TN, …), or to organize tournaments and invite other statewide and neighboring college clubs to participate. 3. It shall be the belief of Badminton Club that everyone has equal opportunity to participate in practice sessions and other activities of the Club, as well as to enjoy the sport.

Our club caters to both new and competitive dancers, with lessons every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday. We will have ballroom lessons under a professional instructor, ranging from beginner-focused lessons and more technique-based, team-focused lessons depending on the demographics of the club. Club Officers are also experienced ballroom dancers, well-practiced in instruction. We also have an open practice on Sunday, which allows members to learn missed content and practice dancing in a less structured format. At $65 a semester, our club is one of the most affordable methods for getting into the spot. For those who would like to compete, anyone is welcome to travel with us. Ballroom was also Club of the Year for the academic year of '17-'18 and Club of the Month for September 2021.

Founded in 2012, the UARK Cycling Club is a group of students and faculty members who all share the same passion for cycling. Whether you just want to find other people to ride with around Fayetteville or are looking to race at the collegiate level, we have a place for every type of cyclist, regardless of experience or fitness level. We also have various officer positions, which not only look great on the resume, but give you invaluable experience in management type roles, requiring responsibility and ingenuity.

We host regular group rides, annual home races, and communicate frequently through GroupMe on all things cycling related. We also volunteer in the local community, especially in events which advance cycling culture in Northwest Arkansas, most recently the UCI Cyclocross World Championships and Joe Martin Pro Stage Race. For those interested in racing, there is a category for every fitness level. Our season starts in February and lasts through March. Each year, we send multiple riders to Collegiate Nationals to represent the University of Arkansas as they compete against the best cyclists in the United States.

We primarily consist of Road, MTB, and CX riders, but all types of cyclists are welcome to join. We have varying membership levels which will give you access to a variety of perks. These include exclusive discounts from our sponsors and local businesses (bike shops, etc.), free race entry and hotel fees, and discounts on our official team kit.

We offer both a competition and casual option within the club, please see the bylaws for further explanation. Competition members are required to practice at least twice a week, preferably in a team setting. Tryouts will continually be held throughout the year in order to determine the best players to send to our next event.

The University of Arkansas Hockey team plays roughly a 30-game season as a part of the American Collegiate Hockey Associate and Mid-America Collegiate Hockey Association. The team practices 2-3 times per week and has off-ice workouts twice per week. Player dues cover travel, ice time, jerseys, tracksuits, gloves, tape, Sticks, and much more.

We compete in a number of road races in the NWA area as well as some marathon level events outside of the region.

• Shotgun Sports club is for anyone who wants a close group of friends that go out to the range and shoot different disciplines of shotgun sports. Throughout the year, we travel to compete in many tournaments with our two largest being the ACUI tournament in Sparta, Illinois and the ACUI Collegiate Nationals Championship in San Antonio, Texas.

• How can I be accepted on the team?
o Anyone is accepted on our team! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never shot, shot once, or are an Olympic shooter. The following are the only requirements we ask of you to join the team:
 Follow ALL safety rules no matter what
 Follow ALL instructions given to you by officers
 Treat other members with respect and kindness (no matter their skill level)

We reserve the right to remove anyone from the club who does not abide by any safety/kindness policy

University Recreation club sports provide opportunities for individuals who share a common interest in a specific sport to enjoy the benefits of a group experience.

Clubs are regulated by program and university policy but retain the characteristic of self-administration and self-regulation. Members assume a variety of roles within the club and are called upon to assist in all aspects of club operations.

The Arkansas Club Tennis team is open to Grad and Undergrad students. We host relaxed practices in a group setting on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm, along with events & tournaments held throughout the year. We are a competitive team, playing against other universities across the country while representing Arkansas. For the 2023 - 2024 season, we traveled to 7 tournaments in locations such as Colorado Springs, CO, Mobile, AL, and Rome, GA. We hold tryouts twice per year at the beginning of each semester to field our team. This year, tryouts are Aug 27th - 29th at the UREC Tennis Complex. Sign-ups are below! If you make the team, there are dues of $300 that will cover practice equipment, events, and travel expenses (except food).

The University of Arkansas Water Ski Club is a 3 event competition water ski club based in Fayetteville, AR. We welcome anyone regardless of skill level or experience to come check us out. The club competes against various teams in and outside of the NCWSA South-Central Region when traveling to tournaments in Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. We practice regularly at Cedar Creek Water Ski Park near Elkins, Arkansas (about 25 minutes from campus). Please contact president Claire Meara (913-553-8515) or email the club directly for details!

Our goal is to compete at the highest level of the sport while representing the University of Arkansas. The club provides a very competitive lacrosse experience without the overwhelming pressure and time-commitment of Division I varsity lacrosse. Our student-athletes are expected to dedicate themselves to the team, but they are given the time needed to focus on academics.

Practices and Games:

Playing lacrosse at Arkansas is a year-round commitment. We recommend that student-athletes schedule classes that end by 5:00 p.m. daily. Ending classes as early as possible on Friday accommodates team to travel that may begin on Friday. Most games are played on the weekend.

Our club is a member of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). Within this national organization, there are now two divisions, ten conferences, and almost 200 teams. The Lacrosse Club competes in Division I of the Lone Star Alliance (LSA). The club is in the Northern Division of the LSA together with North Texas, Oklahoma, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian, and Texas Tech, and travels and plays universities from other conferences as well. The LSA tournament is in late April. The winner of the tournament, along with the champions of the eight other conferences, get an automatic bid to the MCLA National Championship Tournament in mid-May. Seven other at-large bids go to the highest-ranked teams (that did not receive automatic bids) in the final regular season poll.

After recent success in the Heart of America Conference and at the D1AA National Championship Tournament, the club was invited to move to the Red River Conference in D1A in 2016. The club departed from the Red River conference in Fall of 2019 and played independently for the 2019-2020 season. The club has then rejoined the Heart of America conference and plans to continue their past success within the conference in 15's and 7's for the following seasons to come. With the support of a strong alumni base, we have been able to travel around the country to places such as California, Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina, with the only cost to the players being the dues.

Our exceptional coaches have given our players the tools to compete and succeed against the top clubs in the country.
