Frequently Asked Questions
1. What do I need to bring to practice?
We provide jump ropes, headgear, and gloves, so you don't need to bring anything to your first few practices. However, if you are interested in sparring, you will need to purchase 180" wrist wraps and a mouthguard.
2. Do I need any prior boxing experience?
Not at all! Most of our members are completely new to the sport, and we teach from the ground up. On your first day, we'll teach you the basics of form and technique, and then allow you to join the drills and exercise alongside everyone else!
3. Who can join the club?
Everyone is welcome! We are all inclusive and have competition opportunities available for everyone!
4. Is sparring required to be in the club?
Sparring is completely optional and isn't required to be a member. If you are interested in sparring, you will first spar with little contact against an officer to see if you are ready.
5. Do I need to notify anyone if I can't make it to practice?
If you can't make it to a practice, no need to inform anyone. We know that every member is a student first and foremost, and that not everyone has the time to attend practice.
