The purpose of Tau Sigma shall be to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of students transferring to the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville from a previous academic institution. Also, to encourage transfer students’ participation and involvement at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
As a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society, students will gain access to a network of high-achieving transfer students across the country, along with valuable opportunities for academic recognition, leadership development, and professional growth. Members are eligible for exclusive scholarships, participate in campus and national events, and often receive special recognition from universities and future employers. Tau Sigma also fosters a strong sense of community, helping transfer students build lasting connections and successfully integrate into their new academic environments.
