About Us
The PATH Advisory Committee (PAC) serves as a student advisory board to the Honors College Path Program at the University of Arkansas. Its primary purpose is to provide feedback, recommendations, and support that enhance the overall effectiveness and student experience within the Path Program. Aligned with the Honors College Path Program’s mission, PAC is dedicated to empowering first-generation college students and those from underrepresented backgrounds by fostering belonging, academic success, and personal growth. PAC aims to extend the community-building aspects of the Path Program beyond the first year, creating a sustained support network for all Path cohorts. This organization acts as a liaison between the Path Program Graduate Assistant (GA), Honors College staff, and the broader Path student community. Through consistent communication, mentorship, and advocacy, PAC ensures that student perspectives are central to the continued development and success of the Path Program. By facilitating collaboration, leadership opportunities, and program engagement, PAC will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the Path Program. Members will help identify needs, propose initiatives, and strengthen the connection among all Path cohorts while supporting the Honors College’s mission of access and excellence.
