About Us
Our organization of non-traditional students at the Fay Jones School is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive community for students who come to architecture and design education later in life or through unconventional paths. We understand that non-traditional students face unique challenges and have different needs than traditional students, and we seek to create a space where our members can thrive academically and personally. Through mentorship, networking, and educational opportunities, we aim to empower our members to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. We believe that diversity of experience and perspective enriches the learning environment and contributes to a more vibrant and dynamic community. We are dedicated to promoting a culture of inclusivity, respect, and support for all students at the Fay Jones School. Our mission is to advocate for the unique needs of non-traditional students and to create a platform for their voices to be heard. We strive to create a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our members, and to foster relationships that extend beyond the classroom. We believe that non-traditional students have much to offer in the field of architecture and design, and we are committed to supporting them in achieving their goals and making meaningful contributions to the profession.
