About Us

1. It shall be the purpose of UARK NSBE to coincide with the objectives of the National Society of Black Engineers and shall include programs that serve to stimulate and develop student interest in engineering; to strive to promote participation at all levels of responsibility in the field of engineering by the black and other minority communities; and to endeavor in the advancement of black and other Ininority professional engineers within the individual l engineering disciplines. 2. It shall be the mission of UARK NSBE to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively iInpact the community.
