About Us

The Nepalese Student Association (NeSA) at the University of Arkansas (UARK) is a non-profit, non-politically based, and secular organization. This organization aims to enhance the cultural, social, and educational experiences of Nepalese/nonNepalese students, fostering social interaction, peace, and harmony among the diverse cultures within the University. NeSA shall strive to promote Nepalese cultures and foster understanding among Nepalese/Nepalese Americans and individuals from different ethnic backgrounds."

Red, Rhythms & Reports: Teej Night & AGM

The Teej celebration gives the University of Arkansas campus a great opportunity to connect, learn, and experience South Asian culture firsthand. Through a short presentation sharing the stories, history, and values behind Teej, which focuses on womanhood, community, and resilience, the event opens the door for genuine cross-cultural conversations and fresh perspectives. Alongside traditional music, dance, and food, we are inviting students from all backgrounds to come together, make new friends, and celebrate campus diversity in a fun, welcoming space.
