The Nepali Student Association at the University of Arkansas invites all students to join in celebrating
Nepali New Year with a vibrant evening of culture, music, dance, and food. This event will be held on
Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The festivities will begin at the Hillside Auditorium at 4:00 PM
with performances followed by food and a social gathering.
Attendees will enjoy traditional Nepali performances, including folk dances and music, offering a unique
opportunity to experience Nepali culture firsthand. The evening will also feature a variety of Nepali
dishes, allowing everyone to taste the rich and diverse flavors of Nepal. This celebration is a chance to
learn about Nepali customs while fostering cultural exchange among students from different
backgrounds.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student
Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas students who pay the Student
Activities fee.
