Rehan is a Freshman Honors College Fellow at the University of Arkansas from Bentonville, Arkansas and is pursuing a Data Science degree with a concentration in Financial Data Analytics. He is originally from Kerala, India and moved to the United States when he was young. He loves learning about culture, cooking new dishes, reading dystopian fiction, drawing and illustrating, Indian fusion dance, and playing sports. His favorite part about Fayetteville is the beauty it has and how much nature is present in the area. Rehan loves meeting new people and getting to learn more about their experiences!

Ryan is an international freshman Honors College Fellow majoring in Data Science with a concentration in financial data analytics. He went to high school in NWA and calls Bentonville his home. He is originally from Kerala, India, and loves to participate in cultural activities. He is a part of the Bollywood Fusion dance team on campus and enjoys fashion, drawing, recreational sports, and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys rap, pop, and Indian styles of music. His favorite thing about Fayetteville is the people and the beautiful campus. He loves learning about new cultures and cuisines.

Graduate Student | Human Environmental Sciences
Elizabeth is a Human Environmental Sciences graduate student at the University of Arkansas pursuing a Master of Science in with a concentration in Human Development and Family Science. Originally from Ghana, Elizabeth enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and sharing experiences. She currently serves as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant and is involved in mentoring and community service on campus. Her research focuses on student development and life transitions. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys volunteering, exploring new places, and building meaningful connections with others.

Undergrad | Public Health
Leanne is an international student from Ghana, a country in West Africa known for its rich culture and strong sense of community. She is currently studying public health and hopes to specialize in epidemiology after graduation. Leanne transferred to the University of Arkansas in Fall 2025 and enjoys how peaceful yet lively Fayetteville is, along with the kindness and welcoming nature of the people. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like getting coffee or brunch with friends. She is compassionate, kind, and values building meaningful connections with others.

Undergrad | Chemical Engineering
Elizabeth is from Belize, a Junior Chemical Engineering student. One of the things she likes about Fayetteville is just how cozy it feels, with there always seeming like there's something small to do around the town's square. One of her favorite things to do during from late spring to fall is to take advantage of the farmer's market being all set up to stroll around and see what the local vendors have to offer! Some of the things she likes to do in her downtime is reading, working on puzzles, and baking!

Graduate Student | Public Health
Elodie is from Port-au-Prince, Haiti and she is a returning CCM! She recently completed a master's in public health. Her first contact with the CCMs at my immigration day in August 2024 and since fall 2025 she has been a CCM. Elodie enjoys building connections with others and making everyone feel included. Outside of her role, she loves trying new food, meeting new people, and creating memories with her friends. Elodie's favorite part about Fayetteville is the different restaurants. She is looking forward to another great year of building community and supporting new students.

Undergrad | International Relations
Carly is a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Arkansas studying International Relations and World Studies. She is currently learning Italian, and hopes to one day study abroad. Carly's favorite thing to do in Fayetteville is going to sporting events, such as hockey and baseball, and the farmer's market on weekends. She recently found Artistree Pottery in the Square and is obsessed with taking her friends to make custom pieces. Carly also loves going to see movies with friends, and her favorite genres are action and romance. She also loves baking, and her specialty is raspberry macarons.

Undergrad | International Studies
Ari is from Osaka, Japan. She is studying international studies, and fall 2026 will be her second semester. Since she is from a big city, Ari loves the nature in Fayetteville and often join hiking events. In addition, she loves to travel. During long vacations, she often take trips. However, she hasn't been able to travel much in the U.S., so one of the items on her bucket list is to travel around the U.S.

Undergrad | Biochemistry
Rhea is from Bentonville, Arkansas, and is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Medical Humanities, on the pre-med track. Her Indian heritage and years spent living in Tokyo have deepened her passion and curiosity for cultural exchange. She loves the scenery in Fayetteville, along with how walkable it is, and enjoys finding new ice cream spots around town. In her free time, she loves to volunteer with hospice patients, dance on the university's Bollywood fusion team, and get coffee with her friends. She is excited to meet and connect with others on campus!

Undergrad | Biology & Psychology
Nethra is a double major in Biology and Psychology and is originally from Bentonville, Arkansas. She enjoys that Fayetteville has a strong college-town atmosphere, making it feel lively and full of people her age, while still being close to home. Nethra is passionate about medicine and hopes to work with children in the future. In her free time, she loves to bake, travel, and watch movies, especially in the crime and horror genres. She also practices Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form she has been doing for around 14 years.

Graduate Student | Operations Management
Ella is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Operations Management. Originally from Nigeria, she brings a global perspective and enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. She loves Fayetteville for its mix of cultures, which has allowed her to meet people from many interesting and inspiring backgrounds. Ella recently started a personal challenge of reading one book each month, which has become one of her favorite ways to unwind. In her free time, she also enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. She loves Afrobeats music and watching sitcoms, with The Office being her favorite.

Undergrad | Marketing
Mariana is an international student from Bolivia, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics. What she likes most about Fayetteville is how genuinely kind people are, creating a welcoming environment where everyone can feel at home. She also loves how you can appreciate each one distinct and beautiful four seasons of the year here. In her free time, she enjoys listening to pop music, going out and discovering new places, spending quality time with her loved ones, working out, trying new recipes, and learning something new every day about history or science.

Graduate Student | Education
Prantica is a graduate student from Bangladesh currently pursuing a master's in education. In addition to her studies, Prantica serves as an Academic Support Graduate Assistant at the Writing Studio. In this role, she focuses on helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve their academic goals by providing tailored writing support. Prantica is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment that promotes student success and leadership. She looks forward to collaborating with the team and using her experience in student support to contribute to the growth of our campus community.

Undergrad | Communication
Sophia is originally from South Korea but got adopted into the US at six months old and has lived in Fayetteville ever since! Sophia loves music. This can be any style of music, but mostly K-pop since that is the music from where she is from. Her favorite group is BlackPink! She also likes to read when she has time, and her favorite book is The Princess Bride! Sophia also has two cats, Lenny and Mai Mai, as well as two younger brothers, Liam and Alex.

Undergrad | Graphic Design
Anna Claire is a senior in the Graphic Design program at the U of A. She is originally from Dallas, Texas, and has loved making art since she was young. She especially loves graphite drawing and painting with watercolors. She also enjoys live music, trying new restaurants, and travelling. Her ideal day off consists of having a picnic with friends, going on a hike, eating ice cream, and exploring new places. Anna Claire is fluent in English and can speak a little Spanish, and she is currently working on learning more.

Undergrad | International Studies
Lisa's home is in Tokyo, Japan. Although her hometown has a very different atmosphere from Northwest Arkansas, she has been drawn to the beautiful nature here. One of the things Lisa appreciates is how welcoming people are. Wherever you go, whether it’s a cafe or a shop, people are friendly and open to conversation. In her free time, Lisa enjoys going outside and exploring new places. She has visited many cafes, restaurants, and hiking spots in the area. She would be happy to recommend some great places if you’re interested!

Graduate Student | Poultry Science
David is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas, where her also works as a Graduate Research Assistant. His research focuses on microbiology and molecular biology, particularly cloning and expressing microbial enzymes involved in bile acid metabolism, specifically deoxycholic acid (DCA). David is originally from Ghana and holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular genetics. He enjoys supporting and connecting with people from different backgrounds and helping new students feel welcomed as they adjust to a new academic and cultural environment.

Undergrad | Biology & Spanish
Jaden is a junior studying biology and Spanish. She is especially passionate about promoting language inclusivity in healthcare, a major inspiration for her studies. Growing up, Jaden lived in England and all over the United States, making her experienced in varying cultures. She loves meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and trying new foods! Jaden is also a trumpet player and enjoys performing musical arrangements and sharing a love for upbeat music. When not studying, you can find Jaden trying new coffee shops, exploring the beautiful outdoors, and bonding with animals.
