1. It shall be the purpose of Helping Hogs to serve the local community by facilitating volunteer services for undergraduate Psychology research students. 2. It shall be the mission of Helping Hogs to make long lasting changes in the lives of vulnerable populations through community outreach and service endeavors. 3. It shall be the belief of Helping Hogs that every member of at-risk communities in the Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas areas deserves a helping hand.
Our main goal is to establish a long-lasting tradition of student-driven community support efforts. This serves the dual function of helping students develop leadership skills and think about how to serve their community, as well as the community benefitting from students providing volunteering hours.
