FIBS exists to educate, develop, and prepare University of Arkansas students for careers in investment banking and related sectors such as private equity, asset management, corporate finance, and financial consulting. FIBS serves as a bridge between students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals and the respective organizations they represent.
The organization provides educational resources, technical training, mentorship, speaker events, networking opportunities, site visits, and support throughout the investment banking recruiting process, but is not limited to just these items. Additionally, FIBS aims to collaborate with faculty and administration at the University of Arkansas to enhance the finance curriculum, investment banking preparation, and placement efforts.
