The African Students organization (ASO) is an organization that provides a common meeting place for the promotion of social,cultural, and other interests, not only among students and other people from Africa but also among those people who appreciateand stand for African values. Additionally, ASO cultivates and further reciprocates understanding with members of Fayettevillecommunity and other people from all other the world, who found the Northwest Arkansas as their home.
Membership offers a strong sense of community and cultural identity, leadership and networking opportunities, access to events such as cultural nights, professional development workshops, and social gatherings. Members also get the chance to collaborate on initiatives that promote African culture, engage in campus-wide activities, and build lasting friendships and support systems while navigating college life.
