About Us

The purpose of re-registering Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, is to continue to promote ethical leadership, academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement among students pursuing careers in criminology, sociology, and related fields. Alpha Phi Sigma recognizes high-achieving students who have shown a commitment to integrity within the field of criminal justice. Through this organization on campus, we aim to create a community of future professionals dedicated to justice and service. Our chapter provides members with opportunities to network, experience leadership, and listen to guest speakers in related fields. Alpha Phi Sigma aims to host educational events, professional panels, guest speaker series, and campus events that support both the academic and personal growth of our members. By keeping our chapter’s active status, we ensure students are connected to a network of peers and resources that help prepare them for careers in criminal justice or public service
