About Us
Walmart and Sam's Associate Network is a student organization designed for current Walmart/Sam's Club associates who are pursuing their degrees while working in stores and clubs. Our mission is to create a bridge between student-associates at the University of Arkansas and professionals at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville. The organization provides opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development through guest speakers, workshops, and visits with Home Office leaders. Members gain firsthand insight into Walmart’s corporate culture and career pathways, preparing them for a smooth transition from their current associate roles into impactful corporate positions after graduation. Beyond career preparation, Walmart and Sam's Associate Network promotes collaboration, innovation, and community among University of Arkansas students, strengthening the partnership between the University and the world’s largest retailer. By investing in the success of our student-associates, the organization contributes to building the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of Walmart.
