THE 360 PROGRAM newsletter
21 SEPTEMBER 2026
Welcome to the official newsletter of the 360 Program, delivered through HogSync, to give you updates on our events, as well as other great campus-wide opportunities. We'll also feature a 360 student each week, recommend a resource, and incorporate a Peer Mentor Q&A to make sure everyone has the chance to receive their valuable insight. We're so excited, and we hope you are too! Let's get into it.
This Week
Our 360 Student Spotlight
Delaney Ake is a sophomore Communications major (and she's considering adding Marketing as a double major next year.) She's from here in Fayetteville, and her favorite places are the thrift stories and secondhand bookstores. The best part about being at the U of A so far for Delaney is that she's made so many new friends, and there's so many clubs/activities that she's been able to take part in. Her major goals this semester are to get involved (on top of being in Color Guard), to have fun, make friends, and pass all of her classes. When asked for the piece of advice she'd give her first-week self, Delaney said: "Parking is going to suck for a couple days, but you'll figure it out, and you'll be okay!!" Her instagram is delaney.x.ake.
Jami's Resource of the Week
Did you know that our library's OneSearch results actually come equipped with a citation generator of their own? Simply click on the "Citation" button, choose the style you need (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.), and boom! No need to risk inaccurate results on third-party websites: our library continues to be one of the top spots for all things research. (That said, you should always double-check generated citations for accuracy.)
"If you had $1000 to spend on something for the 360/SOAR Suite, what would you buy?"

"I would get a therapy dog because we could use some puppy love to help us out on stressful days."
If you are looking for some puppy love, there are many ways to get involved with dogs on campus. Check out this Puppy Olympics event on Sept. 29 from 5:30-6:30 at HOEC 005!

"I would get an unlimited supply of fidgets for anyone studying or coming in for a meeting."
Mullins Library actually has a Calming Room filled with fidgets, headphones, and so much more. This room is located south of the children's book sections in room 234. Click this link for more information!

"I would get a fully stocked coffee bar with all types of coffee."
Although free coffee is a little out of our reach, Hill Coffee Co. here on campus has a great variety of coffee types for all students! They even just released their fall flavors, which include pumpkin bread, caramel apple spice macaroon, and chai.
