Planning to apply to medical school in 2024? On Wednesday, November 15th at 6pm in GEAR 026, Dr. Mack Ivey (Liebolt Chair of Premedical Sciences and Associate Professor of Biological Sciences), will hold a session called "Applying to Med School, Pt. 1: Timelines" discussing the logistics of applying to medical school in 2024. Students applying to medical school next year should attend! After a brief presentation, Dr. Ivey will answer any questions you may have that can help demystify the application process. If you are unable to attend but would still like information on the process, please contact Jonathan Langley at jtlangl@uark.edu.

Honors College design contest! Submit a design for a chance to be featured on some Honors College Merchandise! Be creative and think about designs that can be used for multiple pieces (stickers, shirts, tote bags, hats, etc.). The design can be however vague or specific you want (Ambassador specific, Honors College specific, etc.). More info and submit here!
Choosing a research mentor doesn’t need to be scary! Dr. Hodge will cover guidelines for who can be your mentor, as well as tips on finding prospective mentors and how to approach them.
Developing a research topic is one of the first steps in your honors research. Join Dr. Hodge for a quick intro to how to find and develop topic ideas!
Are you nervous about your honors research? Are you a Fulbright junior worried about Form A due in March? Not sure where to start, what to do, or what’s required? Drop by these office hours to talk with Dr. Hodge about your questions and get specific tips on what do first/next!
