A round of a-paws, please! We are taking this week to celebrate our furry friends with our "Best in Show" pet extravaganza at this week's Recess. All on campus and in the community are invited to attend. Attendees planning to bring a dog must register to attend the event.
Proud dog parents can enter their pup for our photo contest to win bragging rights and the title of "Cutest Pet" by filling out the registration form.

On the morning of March 26th, the Dali cargo ship lost power and rammed into a support pier on Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. The collision caused one of the bridge’s spans to break and fall into the water, killing six construction workers on the bridge at the time. The wreck has also blocked one the busiest shipping lanes in the United States. The Honors College will present a panel of faculty with expertise on engineering, labor history and supply chain to discuss the impact of the accident from 4-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24th, in GEAR 258.
Faculty who will provide context and lead a question-and-answer session include:

Are you interested in the development of healthcare technologies? The Biomedical Innovations for Global Impact Fall 2024 course may be for you! This course offers students from STEM and Business disciplines the opportunity to work with a network of students, faculty, community partners and mentors located in Bangalore, India; Panama City, Panama and in Northwest Arkansas to develop science-based solutions to healthcare or sanitation challenges. The course will introduce students not only to pressing sanitation or healthcare issues but also to the socioeconomic context and decision making process that goes into the successful translation of technologies from idea to bedside.
