We have great news! Thanks to the amazing donors and friends of the Honors College, nearly $18,000 was raised during last week's Honors at Work fundraiser.

📸 Iliana Borjes (B.S.Ch.E.’18) spent a summer interning with with L'Oreal USA in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She now serves on the Honors College Dean's Advisory Board and is a senior manager at Post Consumer Brands.

Have questions about Pre-Med requirements, or want to make sure that you’re on track for medical school? Jonathan Langley will discuss course timelines, planning for the MCAT, and more.
This session is a great intro into the required honors research experience, perfect for freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who want to know how to get started.
Do you like to cross-stitch, crochet, or craft in any way? Come craft in the company of Honors College staff and fellow students! If you have a project to work on, then bring one; if you don't, then come learn from others or enjoy some coloring pages!
Do you love reading? If so, join us for an Honors College Book Club. We will build community over reading and food. Lunch provided. We will officially start chatting about books at noon, and wrap up the conversation around 12:45. Folks are welcome to keep the conversation going after! During this meeting, we will discuss the books that the Club decided to read this semester: Red Rising and Project Hail Mary. You are welcome to read both, read just one, or read none.

Mobile Human Sciences Summer Camp (HESC 4550V/455HV) This is not your typical class! You’ll step into a mentor role, help design camp experiences, and work directly with high school students to create something that actually matters. Course runs May 26-June 26 on campus, and camp takes place June 15-19 in Russellville, Arkansas.

The College Access Initiative is now hiring 2026 Program Mentors for our annual ACT Academy and Jump Start programs. The College Access Initiative (CAI) Program Mentor Staff will work in conjunction with the professional staff of the CAI to facilitate programs with high school students during residential summer programs and academic year activities. CAI’sprograms are designed to support prospective college students as they engage with University of Arkansas faculty, staff, and students. Grad School Search Help: The National Name Exchange (NNE) coordinated by the Council of Graduate Schools, is a free and easy way for students to explore grad school opportunities across the country without having to search for them on their own. By signing up, students create a profile that is shared with hundreds of graduate programs actively looking to recruit talented students.
