This Week in Honors

Hey Honors Scholars! This week is Leadership and Service Week here at the Honors College and to celebrate, we’d like to introduce you to Path Scholar Karina Escobar! Karina (B.S., communication sciences and disorders and B.A., Spanish, summa cum laude, ’23) served as both a freshman service program coordinator and as the student engagement intern at the Volunteer Action Center on campus. She also helped to lead the University of Arkansas Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Now, she’s pursuing her master's and continuing her work in philanthropy as the student engagement graduate assistant for the VAC. Read below for more information on growing your leadership skill set and getting involved on campus and abroad!
