The Science Education Network (SEN) is looking for volunteers for Fall 2026 to support AP Chemistry students at nearby Fayetteville High School. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy chemistry, want teaching and mentorship experience, and want to make a real impact in the local community. Volunteers will also receive service hours for their involvement.

Our team includes SI leaders from UC1, UC2, and Organic Chemistry, and we are working directly with the AP Chemistry teacher at Fayetteville High School as well as Mr. Matt Gerner, the Student Success Coordinator for UC1 and UC2. All session materials will be prepared in advance, so your role is simple: review the materials and show up ready to help in the classroom.

If the listed times do not work for your schedule, please still reach out, as we may be able to find a workaround based on student scheduling needs.
