Details

The One Pill Can Kill initiative, launched by Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin, is a college-focused program designed to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl. In collaboration with this initiative, the Division of Student Affairs and the Substance Education, Assessment and Recovery (SEAR) team will provide an educational training opportunity about opioids and provide a space to ask questions. Participants will learn to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, learn how to respond to a suspected overdose using Narcan and how/when to use fentanyl test strips.
Attendees will receive Fentanyl Harm Prevention Kits, including Narcan and fentanyl test strips. Free food will be provided!

The event will be in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom
All University of Arkansas community members - students, staff, faculty - are invited to register and attend.
