Get Ready to Jam: Improv & Pitching Ideas is an interactive workshop designed to build confidence and creativity when presenting new ideas. Through fun improv exercises, participants will practice thinking on their feet, adapting quickly, and connecting with their audience. By the end, you’ll be better prepared to pitch your ideas with clarity, energy, and impact.

Emily Tomlinson is a professional actor, improviser, and teaching artist. As Director of Education at TheatreSquared, Emily leads a wide array of community-based programs that serve thousands of students, educators, and lifelong learners each year. Her initiatives include the annual T2 Schools Tour (reaching 60+ schools across three states), in-school residencies, youth and adult theatre classes, summer camps, the T2 Teen Council, the T2 Apprentice Program, and professional development for educators. As a performer, Emily has appeared in numerous productions with TheatreSquared, Trike Theatre, Classical Edge Theatre, William Inge Theatre Festival, and others. She is also the voice of Maggie in Oxenfree II: Lost Signals. Emily holds a BA in Drama from the University of Arkansas and an MFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
