Conversation Club - Fall 2026

Attendance to a conversation coach training is mandatory to become a coach. If you cannot attend this training, please contact us at ifriend@uark.edu so we can make alternate arrangements.

Thank you for your interest in being a coach for Conversation Club this semester! This training will include some discussion of expectations and allow us to get to know you and for you to meet some of the members of our office.

Conversation Club is a casual, safe space to ask questions about slang, practice casual English, share cultural experiences and take a break from academics once a week! Build confidence and meet new friends through this 6-week program. This program is open to anyone, international or domestic. We look forward to meeting you!

The Fall 2026 Conversation Club meets every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm in Holcombe Hall from September 8 to October 13. Coaches are required to attend a conversation coach training with one of our staff members.
