About Us

Employee resource groups are voluntary, employee-initiated groups of University of Arkansas faculty and staff who share common interests, backgrounds, characteristics or pursuits. Serve as a link connecting collaborators with University of Arkansas students, alumni, and staff who self-identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. Provide professional development, support, mentoring, outreach and community support for alumni and students through events and to support University of Arkansas student groups and the student body at large. Address issues facing students and employees who self-identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community in order to create a diverse environment that actively fosters respect, inclusion, and opportunities for all and promotes equal access to education for students. Celebrate the contributions of alumni who self-identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community and facilitate inclusive dialogue to strengthen and serve the state of Arkansas
