Mission The Vietnamese Student Association of the University of Arkansas, also known as VSA, strives to serve as a supportive, open-minded, cohesive organization dedicated to promoting Vietnamese cultural awareness at the University of Arkansas and beyond. We aim to build necessary interaction between Vietnamese American, Vietnamese International, and other students of different backgrounds to establish awareness and acceptance of Vietnamese culture, actively raise cultural awareness at the University of Arkansas, and strengthen the relationship between members, other campus organizations, and the community by actively participating in community service, social, and cultural events.For more information about VSA, please contact the VSA President, Kim Tran, at kimt@uark.edu.
Membership BenefitsMembership in the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) offers a range of benefits, including access to cultural events like Tết celebrations, member-only socials, and opportunities to engage with Vietnamese traditions. Members can build a strong sense of community, develop leadership skills through officer roles or committees, and expand their network through our partnership with UVSA South. VSA also provides service and community-engagement opportunities. Perks often include event admission, and exclusive giveaways. Additionally, members may attend regional or national conferences to connect with other VSAs and broaden their cultural experience.
