Workshop speakers will address the historic and intergenerational trauma that affects the health, culture, and environment of Marshallese living in the Islands and in diaspora, the newly signed Compact of Free Association, and recent efforts at the Human Rights Council to address the human rights implications of the nuclear legacy and seek transitional justice. The presentation will be followed a small group breakout session for attendees to discuss and identify ways they can help nuclear frontline communities achieve justice.

The Envisioning Justice Conference, hosted by the Volunteer Action Center, presents a way for students, staff, and faculty to be informed on different topics pertaining to social issues and community service.
