Did you know that petting a dog has positive effects on one's well-being? Multiple research studies have shown petting a dog lowers blood pressure and heart rate, slows breathing, and relaxes tense muscles. and reduces cortisol, a major stress hormone.
Come relax with FURst Tuesday as we kick off the beginning of December!
Each first Tuesday of the month during the fall and spring semesters, the SRVC (Sexual and Relationship Violence Center) teams with the NWA Chapter of Love on a Leash to bring therapy dogs to campus. Join us for some relaxation while loving on some furry friends.
