PHSA aims to establish connections with Alumni and Employers for the future sustainability and advancement of public health. Via engagement and advocating for public health policy, we aim to create interdisciplinary learning and uphold ethical standards.
Connecting with Alumni: This provides students with mentorship opportunities, career advice, and insights into various public health career paths. Connecting with Employers: Facilitates potential internships, job opportunities, and exposure to the professional public health sector. This is a very important part of future sustainability of the members. Interdisciplinary Learning: Gaining exposure to diverse perspectives and approaches within public health, which is crucial for addressing complex public health challenges. Advocating for Public Health Policy: Participating in efforts to influence policies that impact public health, allowing members to have a direct impact on their communities. Engagement: Provides members with a place to engage with like minded individuals, and to engage in public health matters
