Mission OutLaw is a student organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, et al (LGBTQ) individuals and allies at The University of Arkansas (University) School of Law (Law School). OutLaw is dedicated to creating a safe space for all LGBTQ persons, and providing social, educational, professional, and philanthropic opportunities for University of Arkansas Law's LGBTQ community. OutLaw strives to foster a dialogue with the larger campus community about the legal status of LGBTQ persons in society, and the ways in which the law interacts with the lives of LGBTQ persons in the legal profession, as well as LGBTQ persons at large.
Membership BenefitsMembers of OutLaw are offered the unique opportunity to be a part of an association of LGBTQ individuals and allies in order to support, advocate for, and promote individuals and causes relevant to the furtherance of LGBTQ people and rights in our school and the broader community. OutLaw offers a space to practice one's own style of advocacy with passionate and uplifting peers.
