CORE FOUR: Ideate, Discover, Build & Tell is a hands-on entrepreneurship workshop designed to help students transform an idea into a viable venture. Through Lean Canvas, Customer Discovery, rapid prototyping, and pitching, participants will validate their ideas, test assumptions, build tangible solutions, and develop the confidence to clearly communicate their vision. Ideal for students who already have an idea or a problem they want to solve, this workshop provides the tools and framework to move from concept to action.

Overroute

Toma Tomonari is a Forward Deployed Engineer at Overroute, where he builds AI agents for freight and logistics operations such as J.B.Hunt. Before Overroute, he spent three years in product management at Ox, a Bentonville-based warehouse automation startup, leading enterprise launches and building new products from the ground up. At the University of Arkansas’s McMillon Innovation Studio, he helped mentor more than 30 cross-functional student teams over two semesters as they tackled real business challenges for companies including Walmart, P&G, and Nestle. He has also worked on cross-border startup initiatives spanning Japan, South Korea, and the United States, helping Asian founders navigate U.S. investors, enterprise customers, and market entry. His work and expertise sit at the intersection of AI, product development, enterprise operations, and cross-border entrepreneurship. He enjoys turning ambiguous ideas into testable products and concrete execution plans, and helping students learn to do the same.
