Dashain Tihar Fest

Dashain Tihar Fest will bring the colors, lights, and traditions of Nepal’s two most beloved festivals to the University of Arkansas. Students will experience the cultural richness of Dashain—the celebration of family, blessings, and the triumph of good over evil—and Tihar, the festival of lights that honors relationships and community. The evening will feature traditional Nepali music, dance, and rituals, as well as authentic Nepali food, offering a chance to enjoy both the flavors and the spirit of these festivals.

More than just a cultural showcase, Dashain Tihar Fest is an opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds to come together, share traditions, and build connections.
