Mission
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) UARK student chapter serves the purpose of educating and promoting student engagement for everyone and the advancement of students at the university in the field of journalism. The purpose is to promote the fair treatment of all students. Foster the fair treatment of a community campus in the media and create awareness of journalism employment opportunities.

Membership Benefits
Members can be a part of a television newscast to gain hands-on experience. Professional development opportunities like headshots, learning from guest speakers, and networking.
Scholarships through the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). An annual conference where members can network and find intern/job opportunities.
