3-day long educational event. 16 students will learn about the physics of fish sensing, bird navigation, cave formation, river hydrology, and riparian geology of Missouri and Arkansas. A UARK geoscientist faculty member (Dr. Vincent Chevrier), a wildlife biologist (Shelby Osborne, UARK PhD candidate), and a quantum physicist (Yukta Harilal) will all be present at this event to educate students about various topics including quantum navigation, acoustic sensing, cave / karst formation, hydrogeophysics, and hydraulic conductivity of soil. We will be kayaking 8 miles down the Elk River in Noel, MO on May 17th (Sunday). You have the option to come for the float on Sunday, and not stay at the cabin.
