Artificial intelligence is already in our students’ hands, raising important questions about how to use it in education in ways that are useful, honest, and grounded in evidence. This seminar will introduce the Kotlin Simulation Library (KSL), a free, open-source resource for Monte Carlo and discrete-event simulation, along with the KSL Server, which allows an AI assistant to run simulation models rather than simply describe them. The presentation will demonstrate how grounded AI can support simulation education through traceable results, real model runs, and verifiable source code.
