Spring Fling

The EMPOWER mentoring RSO will host its last event of the Spring 2026 semester on April 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Mullins Event Space (MULN 217). The EMPOWER Spring Fling will serve as a community event for EMPOWER students, mentors, and program supporters to build community and have some fun as we finish off the semester while also recognizing Celebrate Diversity Month.

The Spring Fling will feature a casual, spring-themed atmosphere with spring decorations, Chick-fil-A, light snacks, and an assortment of candies. Music will be provided, and a photo booth will be available to capture the event. The evening will also include student reflections from a first-year EMPOWER student and a graduating senior who will share about their college experiences, as well as an optional cross-cultural values activity that invites attendees to reflect on and discuss the perspectives and values that shape our campus community.

There is no formal dress code, although attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite spring attire/dress!
