Because the event falls on April 1, this Critical Conversation uses the theme of “Don’t Be Fooled” to examine the role of religion in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. The discussion will explore how faith traditions shape identity, belonging, and political perspectives for people on both sides of the conflict. We'll look at dynamics within Israel, including the secular–Orthodox divide, and how religious and political identities have resulted in the genocide happening in Palestine now.

Participants are encouraged to come ready to listen, learn, and engage in thoughtful dialogue.
