The Biology Graduate Student Association is hosting a student seminar in which two members of BioGrad will present their research. This event is open to all students, including undergraduate students.

Speakers

Remington Motte

Remington Motte is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas, where he conducts research in Dr. Jeremy Beaulieu's lab. His work focuses on evolutionary biology, particularly understanding how hybridization, introgression, and incomplete lineage sorting influence phylogenetic inference and trait evolution.

Nicolas Jones

Nicolas Jones is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas and a member of the Paré Laboratory. His research focuses on plant biology, with interests in the chemical and molecular mechanisms underlying plant responses to environmental challenges and interactions with other organisms.
