The Black Student Association was founded with the goal of providing a safe and welcoming network for students at the University of Arkansas. Through Shades of Ebony, we aim to expand on this idea by creating a space for students to celebrate their peers’ achievements and talents and recognize the staff that support them throughout the year. At the gala style event, we hope to bring together all students to highlight the incredible community we have here on campus via talent shows, awards and nominations, student and staff speakers, and even inviting some student businesses and artists to showcase their work. With your support we can bring this event to life with good food, beautiful decorations, and the perfect venue that serves as an opportunity for students and staff to come dressed to impress.
