BMES Medtronic Clinical Careers and Internships

Join us for a discussion with two Medtronic Clinical Specialists about careers in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). The speakers will share their experiences transitioning from internships in Arkansas to full-time clinical roles supporting physicians and patients using cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. Students will learn about the role of clinical specialists, how CRM devices are used in patient care, and what skills and experiences can help prepare them for similar careers.

During the event, students will also have the opportunity to view and handle demonstration CRM devices while learning about their components and functionality. This hands-on component will allow participants to connect biomedical engineering concepts with real-world medical technologies while engaging directly with industry professionals and asking questions about internships, career paths, and working in the medical device field.
