The BGSA Wellness Hike event provides an opportunity for graduate students to gather at Kessler Mountain Regional Park for an approximately 2-mile hike which will include a pause for an educational session discussing the benefits of outdoor recreation, healthy eating, mindfulness practice, and rejuvenation to promote their physical and mental health in support of their academic performance. Participants will receive a stainless steel reusable water bottle with the BGSA logo. Following the hike, participants will be invited to lunch at Woodstone Craft Pizza Uptown, where a variety of nutritious foods are offered. The hike will last about 9-11 am, and we will travel to Woodstone for lunch around 11:30-1.

Earth Day is on April 22, 2024, and the goal of the hike and wellness education session is to promote outdoor recreation awareness, appreciation, understanding of environmental sustainability, and health and well-being for graduate students.

Please see the attached "Kessler Parking" document to see where to park.
