We aim to establish a Homecoming Application Review Committee with at least 30 representatives who bring diverse perspectives and a broad range of experiences and backgrounds. These students/faculty will apply and be selected as representatives from Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), such as Greek life, governing bodies, honorary and service organizations, international and cultural groups, professional and academic societies, religious organizations, special interest groups, and different colleges within our institution. The committee will aim to be comprised of an equal number of representatives from each of the eight groups. In the selection process for representatives from the eight designated groups, priority will be given based on the order of application submission, with selection occurring on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of any vacancy or need for additional representatives, members of the ASG Executive shall serve as representatives.
Together, the Homecoming Application Review Committee of 2024 works diligently to review homecoming applications, with the overarching goal of creating a memorable and inclusive homecoming experience that resonates with every member of our campus community. These committee members will evaluate anonymous applications using a preset score sheet to determine the top 20 king and top 20 queen candidates
Applications for the selection committee will open August 9th, 2024, at 9 am and will close September 15th at Noon. Selection committee members will be selected by the Student Body Vice President and will be notified of their status on September 13th, 2024.
