Join the Multicultural Center for an introduction to the rich literary traditions of Latin America. Whether you're looking to expand your reading list, discover new authors and poets, or learn more about the region through the words of those who have written about it, this event offers a great place to begin.

Dr. Erika Almenara, director of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of Arkansas, will guide us in a conversation about Latin America, its literature and poetry, and the ways writers have captured the region's histories, cultures, identities, and experiences. Along the way, attendees will have the opportunity to discover influential voices, ask questions, and explore how literature can offer another way to understand the Americas.

Whether you're an avid reader, a student of Latin America, or simply curious to explore something new, join us for a conversation about the writers, words, and ideas that have helped tell the many stories of the Americas.
Food Provided (A pink sheet code will be provided at the event, allowing participants to use the code and get food at the food court downstairs)
