About Us
1. It shall be the purpose of the Diversity and Inclusion Student Council to foster a sense of unity and engagement within the University of Arkansas and surrounding community by means of active collaboration with minority, cultural and identity-based organizations. 2. It shall be the mission of the Diversity and Inclusion Student Council to identify critical areas of concern and fundamental needs throughout the University of Arkansas campus in order to implement strategies that aim to promote inclusion and diversity. 3. It shall be the belief of the Diversity and Inclusion Student Council that the progression toward a more actively, rather than passively, tolerant environment mandates that all members prioritize the ideas of diversity, equity and inclusion within all components of personhood and community development.
